The Electrode

The Electrode is part of the design project involving bringing Duracell’s battery technology to the road. This song adds new context to Duracell’s very recognizable 3-note-chime known as the “Coppertop” sonic logo by creating a high-speed and electric soundscape; it is as if the listener was driving a futuristic car.

This project abstracted and repurposed Duracell’s sonic brand motif to create an entirely new context to Duracell’s brand. Experimentation involved pushing the progression of the chimes, as well as investigating other instruments to complement it.
